Walter comes from an extensive background of prestigious education mixed with a taste of pure culture. The man who dreamed up Camelback Manor from the brand new, eco-friendly, kitchen to the ever changing wallpaper one of the hall washrooms, also published numerous peer reviewed journal papers & over three-dozen refereed conference papers. Walter also is the Co-Editor of the “Intelligent Decision-Support Systems” for Computer Magazine.
Dr. Kabat is the man who designed the spectacular tropical garden at Camelback Manor, his dream luxury assisted living home, complimented by the custom patio with three pools which complete a fantastic scenery just below “the Praying Monk”. The resort-like setting creates serenity, beauty, and was done by the same man served as the Session Chair at Int’l Symposium on Multi-Valued Logic from 1985 & 1986. Dr. Kabat also gave invited talks at IBM, MCC & NW School of Medicine from 1985 – 1990.
Walter’s publication record is impressive, including 3 PhD Dissertations and 13 MS Theses. His ventures include developing the Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory at UIC. Walter’s consulting experience with Expert Systems, Automated Reasoning, and Information Systems & CAD is apparent in his eye for the intricate architectural layout of the Camelback Manor assisted living home in Phoenix.

Dr. Kabat also taught at Northwestern University and was the Associate Professor of Computer Science & Information Systems at DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.
